, Chaired by Councilman Richard Chinn, Jr., to study the economical, regional, and marketable benefits of Senator Lamar Alexander's proposal to rename the four-lane highway from the Knoxville airport to Oak Ridge the

This committee shall report its findings to the City Council by May 31, 2016.
Currently, the City Clerk's Office is accepting resumes and letters of interests from the public for City Council to select members to the four (4) remaining positions. The deadline for submitting resumes and letters of interests is by
close of business on Friday, November 6, 2015
. The public may submit this material to the City Clerk's Office or upload the documents using an on-line application linked below.
Oak Ridge Corridor Initiative Committee Application
The election for this committee is scheduled to occur at the November 16, 2015 City Council Meeting. Oak Ridge residency is a requirement for consideration to this committee in accordance with City Council's Rules and Procedures, Article V, Section C, Subsection 4.
